At this location on a dirt road near Playa Canoa, an attempt to do an illegal industrial
waste dump was caught in the act. This photograph is a detail of a larger one. Even
though it is common knowledge that this area is constantly used for dumping home
garbage and industrial waste, no actions are being undertaken by the powers that be,
to discontinue or prevent these acts of environmental terrorism. By the way, the
LICENSE PLATE NUMBER IS Y-40-77....IS IT ANYBODY YOU KNOW ????

Huge sections of land behind the former Rondeklip plantation near Playa Clanoa have been destroyed when flaming particles from illegal garbage inceneration activities went airborn and ignited brush, dry grass, and then the trees.
